Cedar Beds & Stone Wall

Check out these garden beds! To get these properly placed we first cleared out the area and leveled it out. To accomplish this we built this sturdy retaining wall out of stone and filled the back side with soil until the ground leveled out. With a level base we could install these raised beds on a flatter surface. The raised beds are made out of cedar. We use eastern red cedar wood, which is grown and milled here in Tennessee, providing a local wood source. The natural oils in the wood also help protect it from rot, so it’s better protected from the elements and should last for decades to come!
